E=MCT …. York, UK Live Summit 2010: Trip Notes,Video & Photos

As some of you know, I had the distinct honor of being able to travel to York, UK  and attend as a delegate, the MCT Live  Readiness 2010  Summit last month.

I thought I’d share the YouTube video & some delegate photo postings of what was going on there.

We were  graciously hosted by the University of York and this event was set up by two community MCTs, Andrew Bettany and Daniel Sorlov and sponsored by Microsoft | Learning: Lutz Ziob, Tjeerd Veniga, Matthew Roche and MCTEurope, MVP-Press & techmesh not to mention the helpful exhibitors who shared thier much needed products too.

130 MCT delegates from 30 countries gathered and shared tips and tricks in session & among ourselves and one-on-one meetings directly with Microsoft representatives as we prepared for a new wave of  MS  technology products, certification & training.  It was great content from experts from all around the globe and all of them had a keen eye for detail to ensure that we all learned alot!

I met so many wonderful fellow sharing top-notch professionals from this event. Many of us have connected among ourselves & via LinkedIn now and exchanging information still daily and since returning, the excitement on this new great cost effective technology is really ramping up! I am looking forward to all the great things it will do for business productivity!

You may have noticed too that I have a newly designed blog here lately. This is in direct result of one of my MCT  community, readiness, passion  takeaways  … a “call to action” sort to speak now to share as much as I can and as often as I can of  all the new things in the MS BI  technical arena to those here in my region.

I have posted quite a bit since my return on here now and I hope you have fun browsing it ….

Please visit back often as I will be posting more here and sharing as much as I can. — Stay tuned for even more to come …..

If you ever visit the UK, you have to visit York. It is one of the most beautiful, historical cities I have ever visited. It was a very memorable trip indeed. I must go back again for sure ….

I am looking forward to the 2011 event. (Athens maybe?)
